I am doing some experiments to use a Windows 8 PC without a touchscreen using  the Leap Motion and creating a new NUI experience.



For these experiments, I used a TUIO driver to simulate the touchscreen and then the leap sends the touchscreen points to this driver simulating what you see in the video. 



Even if it looks intuitive, it is bringing a touchscreen to a 3D space making it hard to use. I am designing an adaptation to the 3D space making a special interface to make 3D spatial interactions more fun.
